Why me ? Is a question we often ask ourselves . Whether it is a failed marriage, relationship , lost of a love one , sickness , job loss the list can go on and on . The first question we ask ourselves is WHY ME? Then we look for someone to blame. Now we want to blame God for everything that happened . Let me stop you there. God wants to help you get through that WHY ME situation. The first thing God wants you to know is that you are not alone . I lost my sister in December 2014, one of my many “why me ?” situations . Guess what? I thought I was going to literally die . My world in the way that I once knew it was crushed . The thing I thought could never happen , happened to me . I want you to know the quicker you change the why me to a why not me , the easier it will be to over come it . Guess what? I didn’t die from the lost of my sister . Although , I thought I was . I actually started to live . I guess your wondering how . That situation changed me. Most importantly my perspective changed. I’m not the perfect writer but I know that I am determined to share from life my experiences in the form of a blog. The bible tells us that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. I am saying that even in a tragic situation like my sisters death worked out for my good. I was able to turn my pain into words shared through this blog site to let you know that it is no situation that you encounter that God won’t get you through. Now, I am stronger and much wiser. I understand that life is short and you don’t want to live a life focused on blaming someone for your pain. Instead, you can find strength in God through your pain . God never left me and he will never leave you. Now I ask WHY NOT ME? because I know that even in the midst of pain God is birthing my purpose and that the pain was all part of Gods plan. Your purpose is attached to you pain.
